Leanardo DiCaprio Clean Water Spokesman

leonardo_dicaprio.jpgLeanardo Dicaprio helped environmentalists launch an international campaign this week to draw attention to the billion people worldwide who don't have access to clean water, the Associated Press reported, and the Arizona Republic published.

DiCaprio, who signed a petition urging President Bush and other government leaders to commit to a U.N. treaty declaring clean water a basic human right, also screened a short film, which he helped produce, highlighting the need to conserve the world's freshwater supply.
