Direct TV Takes Up to 8 Weeks to Correct Banking Error

DirectTV_Logo-778572.jpgDirect TV Customer Service stated today that funds sent to them in an inadvertent error, directed to a dormant account via Electronic Fund Transfer, will take up to eight weeks to return to Washington Mutual Bank.

On July 25th I sent funds, by mistake, to a closed Direct TV account. The funds moved in under 30 minutes of the error. Direct TV claims it takes them six to eight weeks to refund and return these funds.

We have even contacted the President of Direct TV, Chase Carey, via email at chase.carey@directv.com, with no reply as yet, reported by Stephen Betheil.
